Camp Committee

The Habonim Dror Camp Gilboa Camp Committee serves as the central administrative leadership of the camp. The committee is responsible for all legal and fiscal matters relating to the camp, fundraising, camper recruitment, and public relations. The Camp Committee works with Habonim Dror's youth leadership to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all of our campers.

The Camp Committee hires the Executive Director, who conducts Gilboa's day to day operations throughout the year. Additionally, each year, the Committee hires the Rosh Machaneh (Camp Director), the Merakez Chinuch (Educational Program coordinator), and the Merakez Techni (Logistical Coordinator) for both summer and winter camp. 

The Camp Committee, with the help of the Executive Director, works throughout the year to plan for summer & winter camp, focusing on fundraising, camper recruitment, public relations & marketing, developing alumni archives, database maintenance, and web development.

All parents, Habonim-Dror ma'apilim (post-high school members) and alumni are welcome to join the Camp Committee and pitch in.  Please email the Chair direct.
