Tour de Summer Camps: Gilboa's Biggest Fundraising Event of the Year!

This family-friendly day of fun has raised over $13 million since its inception to help provide need-based scholarships to make the magic of Jewish summer camp accessible to thousands of children. For Gilboa, this is the number one fundraising day of the year and we receive over half of our scholarship money from this event. The more participants we have, the more kids we can send to camp!
There are so many ways to show up this year. No matter your age, interests, or fitness level, there's a way for you to be part of the experience. Choose from cycling, hiking, riding a stationary bike, our family-friendly color run and arts and crafts, our pickleball tournament, and our 2nd annual Camp Cup featuring competitions like freeze dance and relay races. Whether you're riding our scenic courses, competing on the pickleball court, crossing the color run finish line with your family, or reliving your camp glory days at the Camp Cup, every participant plays a role in helping more children experience the joy, connection, and lifelong impact of Jewish summer camp.However you choose to participate, you’ll be putting the values of spreading Jewish joy and building Jewish community in action, ensuring a brighter Jewish future for all. Cycle:
Tour de Summer Camps offers 18-, 36-, 62-, or 100-mile routes, each designed to accommodate different skill levels and riding goals. Prefer to stay in one place? You can still be part of the action by participating on a stationary bike for our Cycle at Camp with professional instructor Corey Weiss.
Camp Cup:
This year’s Tour de Summer Camps will once again feature the highly anticipated Camp Cup, bringing out the camper spirit in participants of all ages. Gather a team of 5-10 friends, family members, coworkers, or fellow camp enthusiasts and get ready to compete in a series of exciting camp-inspired challenges, including freeze dance, tug-o-war, relay races, gaga, and a colorful grand finale color run. Whether you're in it for the glory, the laughs, or a little friendly competition, every event is designed to capture the joy and camaraderie of summer camp. Pickleball Tournament:
Pickleball players, this one is for you! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner looking for a fun way to get on the court, join us for our exciting round robin pickleball tournament,. Sign up with a friend or come on your own, but don't get too attached to your partner. You'll be paired with a different teammate each round, giving everyone a chance to meet new people, play a variety of matches, and test their skills alongside fellow participants. Professional scorekeepers will track games and individual points throughout the tournament, so every rally counts.
Hike:
Hit the trail with us! Join us for a scenic 3-mile hike, a favorite tradition for participants who want to take a moment to smell the roses and experience the beauty, community, and spirit of the day at their own pace. Whether you're coming with family, meeting up with old friends, or looking to connect with new people, the hike offers a unique opportunity to spend meaningful time together while taking in the stunning surroundings.
Color Run:
Participants in the color run will run a looped course and get doused in different colors at every turn. The fun is endless! This family-friendly event is designed for kids of all ages. One parent or legal guardian must be present at all times for kids 13 and under to participate in the color run.
