LA Tzedek
Join us on MLK Day (Monday January 16th) for a volunteer opportunity with Midnight Mission in Downtown LA. We'll walk over to Grand Park after for lunch and a debrief.
Drop-off: Midnight Mission at 9:30am
Pick up: Grand Park at 3pm

Bay Tzedek

Winter Seminar
Winter Seminar is Feb 18th-20th in Angelus Oaks, CA.
9th and 10th graders will have special Tzedek programming and 11th graders are on tzevet (staff)
West Coast Seminar
West Coast Seminar is April 28th-30th in Vancouver, Canada! 10th-12th graders are invited for a weekend with teens from Camp Miriam, our sister Habonim Dror camp up in Canada.


The program addresses three main areas through learning and hands-on experience:

Gaining Hands-on Organizing and Social Action Skills

Exploring Social Justice Education Rooted in Judaism

Developing Leadership Experience (Hadracha)

A key aspect of the program is trainings and partnerships in the community. In previous years, for example, the program included:

Immigrant justice work, including helping to organize a vigil at the Adelanto Immigrant Detention center

Participating in the campaign to pass SB10 and end cash bail in CA

Organizing 101 training with Bend the Arc

Learning about re-entry programs at the Amity Foundation and with A New Way of Life

Creating music for social change workshop with filmmaker Melanie Zoey

Learning about student protest movements at the Boyle Heights Museum
