Generous grants for NEW campers are being offered by the Foundation for Jewish Camp and partnering Jewish organizations, such as PJ Library and various Jewish Federations.
Visit www.OneHappyCamper.org to determine eligibility and apply - enter "Habonim Dror Camp Gilboa" for the camp you want to attend.

One Happy Camper grants are sponsored by partnering Jewish Federations in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, and Palm Desert and PJ Library. If you live in a city that is not covered by one of these Jewish Federations and you are not part of PJ Lilbrary, Gilboa offers its own "Gilboa Happy Camper" grant.
NEW 2025: Through a new four-year $5 million partnership between the Foundation for Jewish Camp and the Samueli Foundation, families in Orange County are also eligible for middle-income access grants and needs-based scholarships. Please reach out to info@campgilboa.org for more information.
If you've applied via the One Happy Camper website and were told you are not eligible, contact us about the Gilboa Happy Camper grant eligibility.

Families who love Camp Gilboa and talk about it with others are the best asset we have in recruiting new campers. Because you’ve entrusted the care of your children to Gilboa, you’re making a statement to others who are considering doing the same.
When you bring friends to camp, you contribute to something you already believe in: getting kids to partake in a meaningful experience that strengthens their Jewish identity, sense of community, and desire to change the world. As an added benefit, any new camper you bring to camp means big discounts, making camp more affordable for your family.
Bring a Friend Discounts:
$150 off for each new camper family you bring!
Bring 5 new camper families and receive $1500 off your family's tuition!
We are here to help you – we can run an online info session for your friends and family, and include activities for the kids with our counselors.
Contact Alison if you’re interested in hosting a Gilboa info session!

Additionally, there may be other Jewish Community funds or organizations in your area that offer scholarships - we recommend looking into your local Jewish Family Services (JFS.)
