After a three year hiatus and MUCH demand, we are so excited to be bringing back West Coast Seminar! Every year, Gilboa and our HDNA sibling Camp Miriam collaborate on a weekend long seminar for 10th-12th graders, where one camp hosts the other for the latest movement conversations and exploration of their home city. This year Camp Miriam is hosting us in Vancouver, where we'll be learning about their Jewish community, doing justice work and having fun!
PARTICIPANTS: This seminar is for current 10th-12th graders (kvutzot 75, 74, and 73)
DATES: April 28th-30th
LOCATION: Hillel of the University of British Columbia, 6145 Student Union Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z1, Canada
Important info! In order to sign up, make sure you have passport information, health insurance that is valid in Canada, and a border consent form with parent signature.
Travel:
All flights will be purchased by Gilboa. Please do not book any of your own travel unless you are coordinating with someone from the Gilboa office.
Flights will be leaving Friday morning, April 28th from LAX and SFO and returning in the evening on Sunday, April 30th.
Deadline: All registrations must be completed by Sunday, February 26th. If you register after February 26th, you are responsible to cover any additional costs that come as a result of booking flights separate from the group.
Cost: The cost of the seminar is on a sliding scale of $500-$700. The price of flights is included in the cost of the seminar. Please note that the actual cost per person is $550. We know that this is out of range for many families and are committed to making our programs affordable! Please pay what you can and reach out if you need additional scholarship.
Covid Safety:
