Hello, Gilboa Families!
Today, we're tuning in with a celebration of one of our favorite Shabbat traditions: Musicale!
Musicale – typically just before dinner on Saturday nights – is an opportunity for chanichimot (campers) to share their many musical gifts with all of machaneh (camp). At Gilboa we aim to foster a supportive environment for creative expression, and we view Musicale as an uplifting space for performers both experienced and experimenting!
This week, we wanted to share some snippets from the past couple of Musicales to give you a taste of what it’s like!
Another fun feature of Musicale is that our Bogrimot (rising 10th graders) introduce each act with a fun sketch! They always go above and beyond with their creativity, and it’s a great way for them to strengthen their leadership muscles every week.
We hope you enjoyed seeing a sneak peak of what Musicale is like at Gilboa! For more videos, check out @machaneh_gilboa on Instagram.
Talk to you soon,
--Alison
