Registration & Scholarships for Summer 2026

Updated: Sep 24

Good Afternoon, Gilboa Community!

ree

Did you know that registration for Summer 2026 has launched and is now open for both returning and new families?! Click here for 2026 Dates and Rates, or CLICK HERE to register today.

We know many are going through financial hardship during these challenging times, so to make camp more affordable we have kept our session rates mostly the same as last summer for now!  Register by 12/1/25 to lock in these rates, as they may be subject to change after 12/1.  And register by 11/1/25 to get an additional Early Bird discount of $100!

Support Our Scholarship Fund

One of Camp Gilboa’s core values is kupa—a principle that means "give what you can and take what you need." Guided by this value, we strive to make camp accessible for families who might not otherwise be able to attend. We are immensely grateful to our generous donors and to the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, whose contributions make our scholarship fund possible and help ensure Camp Gilboa remains affordable to diverse families across the LA region.

If your family does not currently need financial assistance, please consider supporting our mission by donating to our scholarship fund here. Your gift allows campers to experience machaneh (camp) who might otherwise miss out on this formative experience. We thank you sincerely for any support you can offer.

Scholarship Application Guidelines

We welcome all scholarship applicants, although we may not be able to fulfill every request. Our Scholarship Committee makes determinations based on funds available and information in each application, including:

  • Household income and family size

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • Special circumstances

  • Community involvement

To help us steward our limited scholarship funds responsibly, we ask applicants to:

  • Reflect on whether receiving a scholarship is necessary to make camp possible for your child.

  • Request only the amount needed to make camp affordable.

  • Consider your family’s financial priorities, including the importance of camp in your budget.

  • Apply for other eligible community scholarships, as detailed below.

Because we aim to be the most affordable Jewish camp in Southern California, every camper’s tuition is already subsidized by around 25%. When applying for a scholarship, please consider this as you live into our shared value of kupa.
