Hello Gilboa Community!
It is with a lot of mixed emotions that I write to you today, checking in with some photos from our last days together at machanech (camp). The last week of camp is always so jam packed with tiyul (hiking trip), our last Shabbat altogether, and the arrival of MBG, that time flies by!
The big news of the day is that MBG arrived last night! MBG is a program for rising 11th graders at the end of the summer to come back to Gilboa to reconnect both as a kvutsa (age group), and as a machaneh (camp). This summer, many of our rising 11th graders attended MBI (Machaneh Bonim Israel) or MBM (Machaneh Bonim b'Mexico). MBM culminated with a week at Camp Galil before spending a few days back at Gilboa. We're so happy to have them back, and can't wait to see how their time away has helped them grow into even stronger leaders than before.
Before we say goodbye tomorrow, we still have some packing time and avodah (work) to do, not to mention a messibah (party) tonight to celebrate the end of the summer! Check out some photos from the last few days of machaneh!
See you tomorrow!
